Connecting The Volvo Communication Tool 2000 (VCT 2000)






In order to be able communicate with the car control modules, the VCT 2000 must be connected to both the VADIS PC and the car data link connector (DLC).

Warning! When connecting the VCT2000 to a car via vehicle cable 951 1477 , must always be connected to the VCT2000 before it is connected to the car (supplied with power). This is to prevent damage to the electronic systems.

Connect:






- long PC cable 951 2715 (3) to the PC socket on the VCT2000
- vehicle cable (4) 951 1477 to the VEHICLE socket on the VCT2000.

- Position the VCT2000 on the VADIS station as illustrated
- Connect the cable to the socket on the reverse of the VADIS station.

Note! Make sure that the vehicle cable is correctly connected to the VCT2000 before connecting the cable to the car.
