Self-Adjustment of the Damper Motor Limit Positions (ECC)

Self-Adjustment of the Damper Motor Limit Positions (ECC)

NOTE: Self-adjustment must be carried out if the control module or damper motor is replaced or the damper motor or its linkage has been removed. A new control module will cause the green indicator LED on the Air Conditioning (A/C) switch to flash until self- adjustment has been carried out. The green LED on the Air Conditioning (A/C) switch will flash until the self- adjustment of a new control module has been carried out. When self-adjusting has been correctly completed, the green indicator LED will stop flashing.

Hint: During self-adjustment the control module runs the damper motors to their limit positions. The control modules then store the value returned from the position sensor for the damper motor. The control modules are then able to control the motor between the limit positions during normal operation.

- Start the engine (the generator (GEN) charges). Click the VCT2000 symbol to begin damper motor self-adjustment. This takes approximately thirty seconds.

Select one of the following options:
- Exit self-adjustment
- Read data about problems during self-adjustment.

1 - Test Complete

2 - Checking Causes of No Self-Adjustment
