Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0002 is stored if the keypad unit/car-phone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the signal from the car-phone box to the hands-free loudspeaker.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the hands-free loudspeaker signal between the car-phone box and the keypad unit/car-phone module.

Fault symptom[s]
- Hands-free function does not function.
- Message on combined instrument panel that hands-free position is not functioning.
