Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) PHM-0004 is stored if the keypad unit/car-phone module registers that there is a short-circuit to ground in the MBUS signal.

Possible source
- Short-circuit to ground in the MBUS signal between the car-phone box and the keypad unit/car-phone module.

Fault symptom[s]
- The car-phone does not function.
- Combined instrument panel message that the car-phone is not functioning.
