Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) car-phone module-000F is stored if the keypad unit/car-phone module registers an open-circuit in the signal from the handset cradle.

Possible source
- Open-circuit in the cable from the handset cradle to the keypad unit/car-phone module.

Fault symptom[s]
- Handset does not operate.
- Combined instrument panel message that the handset is not functioning.
