DDM-E003

Condition
The control modules communicate with each other in a network via a standardized serial communication interface - Controller Area Network (CAN) - to exchange information. The control modules transmit and receive information. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) DDM-E003 is stored if the control module registers that that there is no communication or that it is distorted.

NOTE: The control module responds to diagnostic data, however the CAN communication does not function.

Condition
- CAN communication blocked.

Possible source
- Faulty signal configuration in the control module.

- The power window mechanism does not operate
- Automatic window closure does not function
- Door mirror control does not function
- The passenger side power window mechanism does not operate
- The driver's side power window mechanism does not operate
- Cannot be controlled with the central locking switch
- Cannot be controlled with the remote control.
