DTC ECM-100A

Condition
- ignition on
- the engine speed is 0 rpm
- the speed is 0 km/h.

The engine control module (ECM) compares the stable signal from the pressure sensor for the intake manifold (MAP) with the signal from the atmospheric pressure sensor in the engine control module (ECM). Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-100A is stored if it registers that the deviation is greater than 70 hPa.

Substitute value
If the pressure sensor for the intake manifold is OK, a filtered value from the sensor is used. Otherwise the value is set at 1,013 hPa (corresponding to sea level).

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- internal fault in the control module
- defective manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor.
