DTC ECM-120A

Condition
The engine speed (RPM) must be higher than 1,500 rpm. Load above 10 grams per second. The engine coolant temperature (ECT) must be below 50 degrees C. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-120A is stored if the control module registers that the temperature of the intake air is more than 60 degrees C for approximately 15 seconds.

Substitute value
- 30 degrees C

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- defective intake air temperature (IAT) sensor internally in the mass air flow (MAF) sensor
- contact resistance in the connectors.
