DTC ECM-200F

Condition







Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-200F is stored if the control module registers that the engine coolant temperature (ECT) does not exceed +5 degrees C within a certain time after starting (depending on the engine start temperature).

Substitute value
- engine cooling fan (FC) at low-speed.

Possible source

Faulty signal
- contact resistance in the connectors
- defective thermostat
- defective engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor.

Fault symptom[s]
- difficult to start when the engine is warm
- driveability problems during the warm-up phase
- the engine cooling fan (FC) operates constantly.
