DTC ECM-201A

Condition
During the engine warm up phase, the way the engine temperature should increase is calculated. Factors such as engine load and the start temperature are taken into account. This test takes place in the warm up phase (from the start temperature and up to 80 degrees C).

Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-201A is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the calculated temperature increase deviates in relation to the actual temperature increase, if for example coolant is leaking through the thermostat.
