DTC ECM-3200

Condition







The control module counts the number of ignitions in all 5 cylinders during a cycle (=255). During this cycle, each cylinder should have made 51 ignitions. The control module may miss up to 50 ignitions per cylinder before a diagnostic trouble code (DTC) is stored. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-3200 is stored if the control module registers that more than 51 ignitions are missed.

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- loose connections in the connectors
- defective ignition coil.

- the engine judders occasionally
- the engine cuts out
- the engine does not start
- idling problems
- driveability problems.
