Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-33X0 is stored in the engine control module (ECM) if the engine control module (ECM) registers a fault in the signal cable to the ignition coil primary winding.

Substitute value
Fuel trim disabled.

Possible source

Faulty signal:
- short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- open-circuit in signal cable
- loose connections in connector
- defective ignition coil

Fault symptom[s]
- engine misfires.
