DTC ECM-341A

Condition







The engine control module (ECM) checks the knock sensor (KS) when driving. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-341A is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the signal from the knock sensor (KS) deviates from the tolerance.

Substitute value
- knock control is disabled
- ignition retarded for safety reasons.

Too little roar:
- contact resistance in connectors
- defective knock sensor (KS).

Possible source

Too much roar:
- contact resistance in the connector
- defective knock sensor (KS).

Fault symptom[s]
- poor performance.
