DTC ECM-4010

Condition







Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-4010 is stored if the control module registers that the canister shut-off valve signal cable has a short-circuit to ground/voltage or if there is an open-circuit in the circuit.

Substitute value
Canister purge (CP) valve is not activated.

Possible source
- short-circuit to supply voltage in the signal cable
- short-circuit to ground in the signal cable
- open-circuit in signal cable
- defective EVAP canister shut-off valve.
