DTC ECM-7140

Condition

The engine control module (ECM) has registered an internal fault in the temperature sensor circuit. Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-7140 is then stored.

Substitute value
- engine cooling fan (FC) at low-speed
- the engine control module (ECM) assumes a temperature of 60 degrees C (140 degrees F).

Signal too high:
- internal fault in control module.
