DTC ECM-8010

Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-8010 is stored if the battery voltage exceeds 16 V or is lower than 8 V when the ignition is on or during driving.

Substitute value
- None.

Possible source

Too high/low charge voltage:
- defective generator (GEN)/charge regulator
- defective battery
- contact resistance in terminals.

Fault symptom[s]

Low battery voltage:
- engine does not start
- engine cuts out.

High battery voltage:
- None.
