DTC ECM-900E

Condition







Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-900E is stored if the engine control module (ECM) registers that the difference between the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor and the mass air flow (MAF) sensor is too great or if the engine control module (ECM) registers an internal fault.

Substitute value
- Cruise control switched off
- Fuel shut-off system based on the accelerator pedal (AP) position
- Throttle closure when braking.

Faulty signal 1-11
- defective engine control module (ECM).

Fault symptom[s]
- Electronic throttle system warning lamp lit
- the cruise control does not operate
- uneven idle
- malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) lit.
