DTC ECM-9818

Condition
Diagnostic trouble code (DTC) ECM-9818 is stored if engine control module (ECM) (during engine braking) detects a larger flow of air into the engine (for a few seconds) than the requested throttle angle should allow.

None.

Possible source

Incorrect signal:
- air leakage after the throttle.

Fault symptom[s]
- uneven idle
- worse performance at maximum speed.
