DTC SAS-0049 Control Module Power Supply

Condition





If the steering wheel angle sensor (SAS) control unit registers that the voltage between the central electronic control unit (CEM) and the steering wheel angle sensor control unit differs by ± 2 V, diagnostic trouble code SAS-0049 will be stored.

Substitute value
- Nothing.

Possible source
- Contact resistance or oxidation in the connector of the steering angle sensor control unit or steering wheel control unit.
- Internal fault in control unit.

Fault symptom[s]
- Anti-spin warning lamp is on.
