THIS TNN SUPERCEDES THE PREVIOUS 28-53 DATED 1-04-05. PLEASE UPDATE YOUR FILES. SOFTWARE PART NUMBER HAS BEEN CORRECTED.

DESCRIPTION:

During cold weather, stumbling or inconsistent idle after cold start may be experienced on MY 2002-2004 C70 vehicles equipped with a B5234T, engine code 53 or 62. The customer is Most likely to experience this after long parking periods or when the coolant temperature is in the range of 0° to + 5°C (+ 32° to + 41°F).

SERVICE:

New ECM (Engine Control Module) software is available. If this condition occurs new ECM Software should be downloaded using the VADIS software download manager, software Product number 30677000 (ECM Upgrade) should be selected.
