Front Door Window Regulator: Service and Repair






Window lift mechanism front side door, replacing

Window lift mechanism front side door, replacing
Window in half open position.
Remove the side window. See Window front side door, replace Service and Repair.




Remove the four mounting elements.
(Screws or blind rivets)
Lift out the lift mechanism.
Disconnect the connector.

Note! When drilling out blind rivets: Removing rivet .

Installation

Install:
In reverse order.





Note! Install new rivets in the numerical order illustrated.

Initializing the window position
The window position must be initialized after installation.
Ignition on.
Initialize. See Checking the power window mechanism Checking the Power Window Mechanism.
