Checking The Transmission Input Speed Sensor Signal

- Start the engine and let it run at idle speed.
- Gear selector in position P.
- Read off the transmission input speed.

Check that the transmission speed is updated. Compare with the engine speed (RPM).

Is the speed updated?

YES: Continue with Next Procedure. Refer to Intermittent Fault.
NO: Refer to Checking Wiring and Sensors. Checking Wiring and Sensors
