Activate read button on indicator switch and read status.

Hint: If read-out of status on read button gave a correct result the fault is not in the SWM.





Did read-out of status on read button give a correct result?

Yes - No Fault Found

No - Replacing the component

Replacing the component
Replace the indicator switch.

Additional information:
- To replace indicator switch see Turn signal switch, replacing Service and Repair.

Press Continue when fault has been repaired.

Test by replacing the control unit.

Caution! A new control unit is supplied without software. The new control unit must be programmed before it will work.
