Removal

Switch off the ignition. Remove the wheel and wheel sensor





Note! Blow clean around the sensor using compressed air before removing.

Remove the sensor mounting screw. Pull out the sensor.
Remove the electrical cables from the brackets.
Remove the clips from the electrical cables.
Separate the connector. Remove the sensor.

Installation

Install the wheel sensor




Clean around the sensor seat so that when installed the sensor will be in the correct position against the pulse wheel. Use a soft brush.

Install:
- the sensor. Tighten the screw. Tighten to 10 Nm
- the wiring in its brackets
- the clips
- the connector.
Check that the wiring is installed in the brackets and clips.

Install the wheel

Function test
Read off any diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) stored in the control module. Erase.
Interrupt the diagnostic function by turning off the ignition.

Test drive the car

Check that no diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) are stored.
Interrupt the diagnostic function by turning off the ignition.
