Brake pads, front, check

Note! Some variation may occur. However, the essential information in the illustrations is always correct.

Preparatory work

Remove the wheel.
Always start by removing the left-hand wheel at the first service. At the following service remove the right-hand wheel.
Check the brake pads every other time on the left, respectively right-hand side.
For specifications of wear, see Brake pads, front Front Wheel Brake.

Note! Always add 2 mm to the given measurements so that the minimum/replacement limits are not exceeded up to the next service interval.

Finishing

Install the wheel. See: Installing wheels Service and Repair.
