Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair






Manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor

Removal

Removing the pressure sensor




Cut the tie strap for the pressure sensor cable harness. Disconnect the pressure sensor connector.

Remove:
- the screws for the sensor
- lift up the sensor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Specifications. Tightening Torque

Installing the pressure sensor

Install:
- the pressure sensor
- screws for the pressure sensor. Tighten. Connect the connector for the pressure sensor
- new tie strap for the pressure sensor wiring.
