Checking mass movement sensor





If the front mass movement sensor has caused a false alarm, check that the sensor is installed correctly. Press the symbol for VCT 2000 to read out which sensors have triggered the alarm.

For S40 without sunroof with chassis number 0-304267, and V50 without sunroof with chassis number 0-320804:
- Download new software in Central electronic module (CEM) according to VIDA/Software.
- Check the function of the alarm by activating it appropriately.
- Replace mass movement sensor if the alarm does not work.

For other vehicles (S40/V50):
- Replace mass movement sensor and check that the alarm works.
