Oil Level Sensor: Service and Repair






Oil level sensor, replacing

Removal

Draining engine oil
Drain the oil from the engine. See Oil/oil filter, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.

Removing the oil level sensor





Remove:
- the connector from the oil level sensor
- the 3 M6 screws
- the oil level sensor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see Tightening Torque

Installing the oil level sensor

Install:
- the oil level sensor
- the 3 M6 screws; tighten
- the connector to the oil level sensor.

Finishing

Fill engine oil as specified: Oil/oil filter, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.
Warm up the engine. Check for any oil leaks.
