Transmission Control Module (TCM)

Operation number: 43715-2

Note! Some variation in the illustrations may occur, but the essential information is always correct.

Removal

Note! Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

Note! Shift the gear selector into neutral position.

Remove the following items:
- battery ground cable. Battery Disconnecting
- the air cleaner (ACL) housing. Service and Repair





Caution! Make sure that the switches or pins/sleeves in the transmission control module (TCM) and its connectors are not bent or damaged.

Torque: Gear selector mechanism (nut), 16 Nm





Installation





Note! Take care that the arrows point towards each other.

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Order applicable software for the control module. Programming and Relearning

Calibrate the gear-shift position sensor.
