Preparatory work




Ignition off.

Removal
Remove the Phone module (PHM). See: Phone Module (PHM), Replacing





Remove:
- the screws, 4 pcs.
- the bracket.





Remove:
- the cover
- the connector, 1 pc.
- the 2 screws
- the metal bracket
- the battery.

Installation

Install
- the battery
- the metal bracket
- the 2 screws
- the connector, 1 pc.
- the cover.





Install:
- the bracket
- the screws, 4 pcs.
- the Phone module (PHM). See: Phone Module (PHM), Replacing

Resetting counter

Note! The counter must be reset when a new reserve battery has been installed. To reset the reserve battery, see: Vehicle communication, Group 3, Carphone, Resetting the reserve battery.
