Removal

Removing the fuel rail
Remove the fuel rail. See Valve cover/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.

Removing the intake camshaft position sensor





Remove:
- the connector from the position sensor
- the screw
- the intake camshaft position sensor.

Installation

Note! For tightening torques, see: Tightening torque, B8444S Tightening Torque.

Installing the intake camshaft position sensor





Install:
- the intake camshaft position sensor
- the screw
- the connector for the position sensor.

Installing the fuel rail
Install the fuel rail. See: Valve cover/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.
