Removal

Removing the intake manifold
Remove the intake manifold. See Intake manifold/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.

Removing the knock sensor





Remove:
- the knock sensor screw
- the connector from the knock sensor
- the knock sensor.

Installation

Installing the knock sensor

Install:
- the knock sensor.
- the screw; tighten as specified: See Specifications.
- the connector to the knock sensor.

Installing the intake manifold
Install the intake manifold. See Intake manifold/gasket, replacing, B8444S Service and Repair.

Check
Start the engine and check the function.
