Spoilers, Flaps, and Air Dams: Service and Repair

Spoiler kit painting

The Body kit (see illustration) is made of PUR-plastic. PUR-plastic can deform. If the plastic components are not sufficiently supported when stored, or hung after painting, there is a risk that the plastic will change shape.

Caution! Locating pins or other protruding components must not bear the weight of the plastic components.

Hint: Place the plastic components with supports on a large surface.

Caution! Heat causes the plastic to deform further. Oven drying must not be carried out at temperatures exceeding 50 °C. Allow plastic components to dry at room temperature.

Note! Spraying must be carried out according to the instructions of the paint supplier.

Install the components in the body kit according to the Installation Instructions, accessories.
