Checking Power Steering Fluid, Coolant Etc. In The Generator

Check power steering fluid, coolant etc. in the generator

Check power steering fluid, coolant etc. in the generator
If, for any reason, there is power steering fluid, coolant etc on the generator's carbon brushes, slip rings or windings, there may be no charge.
Check for signs of oil or fluid on the outside of the reservoir, pump, pipe and hoses as well as on the generator. In the event of suspected spillage, remove the generator and check carbon brushes, slip rings and windings. If oil or fluid spillage is clearly visible the generator or parts of the generator must be replaced. If the cause of oil or fluid spillage is due to damaged parts, these must be replaced.
Remedy as necessary.
