Calibrating the occupant weight sensor (OWS)

Calibrating the component

Note! Calibration can only be performed if the vehicle is equipped with an occupant weight sensor (OWS).




- Switch off the ignition. Wait 10 seconds
- Ensure that the passenger seat is completely empty
- Switch on the ignition. Wait 10 seconds.

Caution! The passenger seat must be completely empty during calibration. If the passenger seat is not completely empty, the calibration will be incorrect, which will result in incorrect function of the SRS system.

Activate calibration of the occupant weight sensor (OWS) by clicking on the VCT2000 symbol.
