Function Test For the Rain Sensor

Function test
- Ignition in position II.
- Control lever windshield wiper in resting position.
- Activate the rain sensor function by pressing in the button on the wiper lever. Then the windshield wipers run once back and forth.
- Spray water on the outside of the windscreen (using a spray bottle) where the rain sensor is positioned
- The rain sensor should start the windscreen wiper function and sweep over the windscreen

Hint: Carry out the function test 3 times.

- If the check is carried out with continuous sprays of water, the windscreen wiper will function until the windscreen above the rain sensor is dry.
