NOTE:
This concerns vehicles where both KIRs do not work; no function on any button. For other symptoms, refer to TJ 23170.

DESCRIPTION:
XC90 cars with structure week 201020-201236 may loose KIR function without related DTCs.

S60/V70/XC70/XC90 cars with structure week 200620-201019 may encounter this symptom if they have had the UEM replaced between May 2010 and September 2012.

PRODUCT MODIFICATION:
New UEM SW was introduced for service and production from structure week 201237.

SERVICE:
Upgrade the UEM software.
