1. Connect primary leads to coil, pickup assembly to control module and resistor lead.
2. Disconnect high voltage wire from distributor. Do not disconnect wire from coil assembly.
3. Using a suitable high voltage holder, hold wire approximately .196 inch (5 mm) from ground, crank engine and check for spark, Figs. 5 and 6.
4. If no spark appears, replace control module.
