Water Passage Replacement

1. Do the battery removal procedure Removal and Replacement.

2. Remove the intake air duct.

3. Drain the engine coolant Service and Repair.

4. Remove the upper radiator hose, the lower radiator hose, the heater hoses, and the water bypass hoses from the water passage. Disconnect the ECT sensor 1 connector and the EGR valve connector.

5. Remove the EGR pipe Service and Repair.

6. Remove the water passage.





7. Install the water passage with new gaskets in the reverse order of removal.

8. Do the battery installation procedure Removal and Replacement.

9. Refill the radiator with engine coolant, then bleed air from the cooling system.

10. Clean up any spilled engine coolant.
