Coolant Pipes Overview






1 Drain Plug

10 Nm

2 Seal

Replace

3 Front Coolant Pipe

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Front Coolant Pipe ] Front Coolant Pipe

4 Bolt

9 Nm

5 Seal

Replace

6 Lower Left Coolant Pipe

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Lower Left Coolant Pipe ] Lower Left Coolant Pipe

7 Bolt

9 Nm

8 O-ring

Replace

9 Coolant Connecting Piece

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Coolant Connections ] Service and Repair

10 Right Coolant Pipe

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Right Coolant Pipe ] Right Coolant Pipe

11 Bolt

9 Nm

Replace

14 Coolant Hose

15 Rear Coolant Pipe

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Rear Coolant Pipe ] Rear Coolant Pipe

16 Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) Sensor (G62)

Replace

25 Upper Left Coolant Pipe

Removing and installing, refer to => [ Upper Left Coolant Pipe ] Upper Left Coolant Pipe

27 O-ring

Replace

28 Bolt

9 Nm

Connect the Coolant Hose and Connector Coupling to the Coolant Pipe.





- Remove the old O-ring - 2 - in the coolant hose - 3 -.

- Coat the new O-ring with coolant and install it in the coolant hose.

- Press the coolant hose on to the coolant pipe - 1 - until you hear it engage.

- Press the coolant hose on again and pull to make sure the connection is engaged correctly.
