ATF Pipe and Cooler General Information

• General repair information. Refer to => [ General Repair Information ] General Repair Information.

• Rules of cleanliness for working on transmissions. Refer to => [ Clean Working Conditions ] Clean Working Conditions.

• Thoroughly clean all connections and surrounding area before disconnecting.

• After replacing the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) pipes or cooler, check the ATF level. refer to => [ ATF Level Checking and Correcting ] 09LA Automatic Transmission.

CAUTION!
• To remove and install the ATF cooler, the coolant must be completely drained.

• The Cooling system may only be refilled with the cooling system charge unit (VAS 6096). Otherwise, malfunctions can occur.
