Rearview Camera System Control Module

The rear view camera system control module (J772) is located behind the luggage compartment right front side trim.

- If control module is replaced, select replacement function for appropriate control module in guided fault finding routine.

Use the vehicle diagnosis, testing and information system (VAS 5051) to do so.

- Switch off all electrical consumers.

- Remove the key.

Removing

Vehicles with luggage compartment storage bin:

- Open right luggage compartment storage bin.

Vehicles without luggage compartment storage bin:

- Remove right luggage compartment side trim.

All vehicles:

The rear view camera system control module is only wedge into the bracket.

- Disconnect connectors - 2 - on rear view camera system control module - 1 -.





- Unclip rear view camera system control module - 1 - in - direction of arrow - and remove it upward.

Installing

- Install in reverse order.

- Perform calibration. Refer to => [ Rearview Camera System, Calibrating ] Testing and Inspection.
