Towing Recognition Control Module (J345)

Removing

- If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in "Guided Fault Finding" or "Guided Functions" using the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester.

- Select the function or path:






- Follow the instructions on the Vehicle Diagnostic Tester display.

- Open the right luggage compartment side trim panel.






- Release the retaining clips in the direction of the - arrows -.

- Remove the towing recognition control module - 4 - from the frame.

- Disconnect the connectors - 1, 2 and 3 -.

Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

- Follow the prompts on the vehicle diagnostic tester display in the case of a new towing recognition control module.
