Pressure Reduction In Hydraulic Unit (S6S 420G SMG)

Note:
After completing work:
Read out fault memory and clear fault entries.





Release screws (1).

Remove cover.





Installation:
- Correctly install wiring harness with grommet in cover (water tightness).
- Suspend cover (3) in hinges of underside of electronics box (1). Make sure upper stop (2) is correctly installed above hinges of electronics box lower section.





Detach relay (1) of hydraulic pump.

Installation:
- Before inserting relay (1), start following service functions:
^ Transmission actuator
^ Clutch slave cylinder

Turn on ignition.

Press brake pedal.

Move selector lever as often as necessary from position "0" to "R" or "0" to "E" until transmission stops performing gearshifts.

Check accumulator prepressurizing pressure via DIS.

Note:
Residual pressure drops after a brief period.
