Evaporative Emission Canister Purge Solenoid Valve Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Disconnect the EVAP engine pipe (2) to EVAP chassis tube. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.

2. Disconnect the EVAP engine tube (3) to throttle body. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.

3. Disconnect the wiring connector from the EVAP purge solenoid.

4. Remove the EVAP purge solenoid (1) from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure





1. Install the EVAP purge solenoid (1) to the vehicle.

2. Connect the wiring connector to the EVAP purge solenoid.

3. Connect the EVAP engine tube (3) to throttle body. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.

4. Connect the EVAP engine pipe (2) to EVAP chassis tube. Refer to Plastic Collar Quick Connect Fitting Service Procedures.
