KA4 - Check Vacuum Hose From the EVR Solenoid to Throttle Body
- Key "OFF".
- Source port vacuum hose between EVR solenoid and throttle body disconnected.
- Plug one end of the hose and install a vacuum/pressure pump at the other end.
- Apply and maintain a steady pressure through the hose while observing the pump gauge needle.
- Does the pump gauge needle show a pressure drop?
Yes -- Remove vacuum pump and hose plug. Replace vacuum hose. Rerun quick test. Quick Test Appendix (Detailed Testing Instructions)
No -- Remove vacuum pump and vacuum gauge. Reconnect vacuum hose. Go to KA5. KA5 - Check Vacuum Hose From EVR Solenoid to EPT
