AIS9 - BI-Metal Sensor Check

Vacuum Motor:

^ Check the bimetal sensor.

^ Bring the temperature of the bimetal sensor below 24°C (75°F) and apply 54 kPa (16 in Hg) vacuum.

^ Does the door close (go to the hot air position)?

YES -- Go to AIS10. AIS10 - Check Idle Speed

NO -- Replace bimetal sensor.
