- Disconnect RABS II module harness connector from anti-lock electronic control unit to deactivate RABS.

- Key ON.

- Shift into 4x4 mode.

- Set voltmeter to 20VDC scale.

- Measure voltage between Pin 5 of the module harness and chassis ground.

- Is the measured voltage less than 1V?

YES -- Go to 5.3. 5.3

NO -- Repair 4x4 indicator switch or Repair short in the 4x4 indicator switch Circuit 210 (LB). Go to 5.4. 5.4
