Clearing Trouble Codes

NOTE: Ford DOES NOT provide procedures to retrieve or clear trouble codes without the New Generation Star (NGS) tester.

The Rotunda(r) New Generation Star (NGS) Tester 007-00500 is used to clear Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) by performing the ABS code clear procedure. No other manual method can be used to clear DTCs.
