C-2 Check For Open A Circuit

^ Remove three-pin voltage regulator connector.

^ Measure voltage at wiring harness "A" terminal, Circuit 37 (Y).

^ Is voltage at "A" terminal equal to battery voltage?

YES -- GO to C3. C-3 Check For Shorted I Circuit

NO -- Check fuse "T" in powertrain distribution box and replace if required. If OK, service open in circuit 37 (Y).
